Affirmation Cards & Pocket Folio

Thank you Chrystine, for hosting me for another Juicy*S Art Play Date at your beautiful home!

Playing with art supplies is a heart-centered way to practice mindfulness. Tap into that creative part of you that each person possesses. This class is great for beginners or frequent mixed media practitioners. Working with different media we'll create two, layered mixed media art papers (one on card stock and one on sulfite paper); we'll create cards from the heavier paper and the folio from the lighter one. Then we will embellish the card fronts with collage, stamps, mark making, and a focal point word of affirmation. On the back we can add a quote that inspires our affirmation, or just write down our own affirmation that is needed in the moment.
